Ambulance Wish Western Australia has just been registered as a charity by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
The Charities Act clarifies that to be recognised as a charity, an organisation must be not-for-profit and have only charitable purposes that are for the public benefit.
The Registered Charity Tick was developed by the ACNC as a way for registered charities to promote their presence on the Charity Register and promote their commitment to being transparent, accountable and well-run.
